Full Job Description Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Supervises a production shift or department, directing team members to safely meet daily production targets and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and direct production team members on assigned shift/department Assign work, monitor progress, and address production issues in real time Enforce safety rules and address unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately Ensure quality standards are met and non-conformances are reported Conduct daily shift start meetings and communicate priorities Manage time and attendance, overtime, and shift coverage Report daily production results to
Production Manager Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred 4+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years supervisory experience Strong communication and leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing Lean manufacturing training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing plant environment with full shift production floor presence.
