About the role Job Summary The Operations / Manufacturing / Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production or service center activities, ensuring that processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role supervises professional-level staff and ensures adherence to quality standards and production or service schedules. This job profile is intended for People Managers of 4+ professional-level roles. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization. Key Responsibilities Supervise production or service staff and assign daily tasks. Monitor workflow and ensure production targets are met. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs. Train new employees and support skill development. Identify process improvements and implement changes. Communicate production status to management. Skills & Qualifications Typically requires a technical degree and several years of relevant work experience to be able to manage and coordinate one or more professional-level teams. Experience in manufacturing or production supervision. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Knowledge of safety and quality standards. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Effective communication and team coordination skills.
