Full-time Job Summary The Lead Foreman will oversee daily operations in the precast production area, ensuring that all walls and columns are manufactured to specification, on schedule, and in compliance with strict safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Supervise and coordinate a team of 5 general laborers and 1 assistant foreman. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met.
Production Oversight:
Manage the fabrication of precast concrete walls and columns according to design specifications. Ensure proper curing, finishing, and handling of fireproof and ballistic-rated components.
Safety Management:
Enforce all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times. Conduct daily safety briefings and inspections of equipment and work areas. Immediately address hazards and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for compliance with structural and aesthetic standards. Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in precast concrete or related construction environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of concrete mixing, casting, curing, and finishing processes.
Skills:
Leadership and team management. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Certifications:
OSHA 10 (required), OSHA 30 (preferred), First Aid/CPR (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
o Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor/industrial environments. o Comfortable standing for extended periods and operating heavy equipment safely.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
