Full Job Description Function:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating shopfloor activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, efficient headcount allocation, and adherence to production priorities. Serving as the central point of leadership on shift, driving performance improvements, enforcing safety and quality standards, and fostering collaboration between departments. Additionally, the Fab Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the execution plan in coordination with the Fab Dispatcher to optimize inventory production flow.
Responsibilities:
Operational & Production Management Manage the flow of materials and optimize output according to production priorities. Ensure that inventory processes follow standard work instructions and quality specifications. Optimize headcount distribution across production areas and coordinate schedules to improve overall efficiency. Work alongside the Fab Dispatcher to maximize tool utilization and meet cycle time targets. Oversee cross modules operators responsible for hand-carry and priority WIP movement. Ensure close collaboration with the Fab Dispatcher to execute the Dispatch Plan effectively, prioritizing WIP movement based on real-time production needs. People & Team Leadership Supervise and develop the manufacturing team on shift, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and establish training plans to support team development. Ensure proper onboarding and training for new employees. Maintain a high level of motivation through effective communication, recognition, and conflict resolution. Safety & Compliance Champion safety and security protocols, serving as an incident commander for off-shifts and weekends. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company standards, including IATF 16949, and
ISO 14001.
Enforce workplace safety rules and take corrective action when necessary. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions to reduce Cycle Time, improve Line Yield, and improve operational efficiency. Promote Lean manufacturing principles, 6S initiatives and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA and Ishikawa.
Core Competencies/Skills:
Technical Skills Experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems (AX), performance tracking tools (SAP), and training platforms. Strong understanding of problem-solving methods (8D, PDCA, 5W, Ishikawa). Leadership & Behavioral Skills Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure continuous production execution.

Education/Skills Background:
Bachelor or Master's degree Logistics, Operations or relevant experience in a related technical field.
