Production Shift Supervisor Revolution - 2.8 Mesquite, TX Job Details 6 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Team leadership English High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Supervising experience Managing manufacturing teams Full Job Description Revolution is now hiring a Production Shift Supervisor in our Mesquite, TX facility. This role is responsible for supervising production operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be capable of working within a team environment and be individually motivated to accomplish goals and objectives. Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Actively promote plant safety and environmental programs and procedures. Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meet specifications. Conduct routine inspections of the facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action for safety and environmental discrepancies, as well as physical and systems discrepancies. Inspect equipment and product to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality. Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem-solving, overtime, vacations, and training. Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs. Plan process activities and follow established priorities regarding procedures, equipment capabilities, process team performance, and staffing levels. Review, analyze, and act to correct non-conformance in safety, production, policies, and procedures. Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility, and reduce costs. Conduct required team meetings and safety training. Provide feedback to hourly employees on job performance. Promote and implement our Core Values daily. Ability to understand and work well with team members across operations & support teams. All other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate degree preferred. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. One-year supervisory experience is required. Previous experience working in the plastics industry preferred. Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills. A self-motivated individual that can multi-task and lead others. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work varying shifts, including a rotating schedule, based on business needs. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
