Production Foreman

Supports the Production Manager in overseeing the PLG Assembly process to produce products as efficiently as possible while maintaining the company policies and procedures. This position requires on-site presence and regular attendance to perform the essential duties.

Technical Requirements & Skills:

Minimum three (3) years' experience as supervisor, or experience equivalent to supervisor level position (Formal training in leadership, management and/or supervision, preferred). Background in shaped charge manufacturing and the process involved in fabricating a quality product. Demonstrates strong leadership behavior, acting as a positive role model for others. Attention to detail and leads by example. Strong organizational and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively one on one and before groups of employees of the organization. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Able to manage and work with people in a professional way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this position. Familiar with customer requirements. Good hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability. Able to read, understand, learn, and follow written and verbal safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Understanding of European Union CE Certification system. Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Detailed understanding of the importance of Charge symmetry, head heights, basic charge design, etc. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio and percent. Bilingual a plus. Working Conditions:
