Production Manager Help Build the Next Stage of Environmental Enhancements Environmental Enhancements is looking for an experienced, motivated Production Manager to help lead our field operations as we continue to grow throughout the Austin and Central Texas market. This is not a role where you simply inherit a schedule and make sure crews show up. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of production, develop people, improve systems, solve problems, and help build a stronger company. The Role The Production Manager will serve as a critical link between our Account Management team and field production teams , helping ensure that maintenance, enhancement, irrigation, and landscape projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to the standard our customers expect. You will spend significant time in the field working directly with crews, inspecting properties, coordinating schedules, solving production issues, and helping our Account Managers respond quickly to customer needs. The ideal person for this position understands that great landscape operations require a balance of people management, organization, horticultural knowledge, urgency, accountability, and attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities Field Production & Crew Leadership Oversee and support maintenance and enhancement crews working throughout the Austin area. Help crews understand project expectations, scope of work, production goals, and quality standards before work begins. Visit active job sites regularly to monitor production, workmanship, safety, efficiency, and overall presentation. Identify obstacles that could delay production and work proactively to solve them. Assist crew leaders with planning labor, equipment, materials, and daily priorities. Help establish realistic expectations for how long work should take while maintaining the quality standards expected by the company. Develop strong working relationships with crew leaders and field employees while maintaining clear accountability. Scheduling & Account Management Support Work closely with Account Managers to coordinate maintenance activities, enhancement projects, irrigation work, and customer requests. Help prioritize work based on customer urgency, operational capacity, property needs, and profitability. Coordinate crews so approved work can be completed as quickly as reasonably possible. Communicate production updates, scheduling conflicts, material delays, and field conditions clearly to Account Managers. Help ensure that commitments made to customers are communicated to the field and successfully executed. The Production Manager should ultimately help shorten the distance between: Customer Request → Account Manager → Field Team → Completed Work Quality Control Regularly inspect properties and completed projects for quality. Identify recurring production problems and develop solutions rather than simply correcting the same issue repeatedly. Ensure crews follow company standards regarding: Mowing and turf presentation Bed maintenance Pruning Weed control Irrigation-related observations Cleanup Enhancement installation Planting Mulching Site appearance Property-specific expectations Work with Account Managers and crew leaders to correct deficiencies quickly. Document recurring issues and help establish systems that improve consistency across all crews. Enhancement & Project Oversight Assist with planning and executing enhancement and landscape installation projects. Review scopes of work before mobilization. Confirm labor, materials, equipment, and site conditions are properly prepared. Coordinate deliveries and material staging when necessary. Monitor project progress and help keep jobs within estimated labor expectations. Identify potential change-order situations or unforeseen site conditions and communicate them before additional work is performed. Assist with final walkthroughs and project closeout. Fleet, Equipment & Maintenance Records Help oversee company trucks, trailers, equipment, and machinery.

Vehicle maintenance Oil changes Preventative maintenance Equipment repairs Machine servicing Trailer condition Registration and inspection requirements Damage reporting Equipment assignments Help establish preventative maintenance schedules instead of relying on equipment failure to determine when maintenance is needed. Ensure field employees report damaged or malfunctioning equipment promptly. Work with management to help control unnecessary repair costs and equipment downtime. Safety & Operational Standards Promote a strong safety culture throughout field operations. Ensure crews are using appropriate PPE and following company safety procedures. Identify unsafe practices and correct them immediately.

Assist with onboarding and training new field employees. Help management identify staffing needs before labor shortages begin affecting production. Who We Are Looking For The strongest candidate will likely have experience in commercial landscaping, landscape construction, enhancement production, irrigation, property maintenance, or a closely related field. We value practical field experience heavily. You should be comfortable communicating with both field employees and management and be capable of moving between a jobsite, scheduling conversation, customer issue, and equipment problem throughout the same day.

Schedule Full-time position. 10 Hours/day Monday-Thursday, with occasional work on Friday's depending on pipeline.
