Position Summary The shift equipment supervisor is responsible for a fast-paced equipment team that delivers preventative and corrective maintenance excellence. The supervisor is the conduit for leadership communications between days and nights. The ideal candidate would be skilled in making appropriate escalations. As the supervisor, you monitor performance of the team as a whole, and as individuals, providing mentoring, coaching, and guidance. You develop and deliver annual performance reviews for your team. Furthermore, this Leadership role includes ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories. Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are utilized, and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality. Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety programs and regulations. Work with employees and internal customers to resolve technical equipment problems. Coordinate preventive maintenance to effectively meet production and equipment needs. Facilitate shift to shift communication links in order to maintain cross-team momentum. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the area/factory. Manage the Equipment Maintenance Tech Resources to meet Factory Metrics. Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance. Coordinate vendor support. Maintain the teams' safety training, document EHS incidents, and proactively correct workplace hazards in the factory, empowering others to continuously improve operational safety.
