Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Training ??? assign daily tasks, train new hire welders on best practices, and monitor team productivity. Quality Control and Compliance ??? enforce the use of approved welding procedure specifications, inspect welds against blueprints and codes, and manage defect repairs to reduce rework. Safety ??? ensure workers use proper PPE, maintain shop floor safety, conduct toolbox talks, enforce hot-work permits. Resource and cost management ??? oversee the usage of consumables, monitor equipment calibration, and ensure machinery is properly maintained.Working hours:
6:00 AM- 4:30
PM Skills:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work in environments with heat, noise, and welding fumes Knowledge of algebra, geometry very beneficialEducation:
Trade Experience:
4-7 yearsQualifications:
- 3-7 years of hands-on welding and fabrication welding experience, preferably with supervisor or lead responsibilities
- Certified Welding Supervisor or Certified Welding Inspector credentials preferred
- Deep understanding of welding processes
