Foreman with Welding Experience

AKS is expanding and looking for a shop foreman that can manage and maximize employee productivity as well as work on welding projects. This job will provide an opportunity to work on a variety of tasks. Individual hired for this position needs to be willing and able to learn new skills.

SHOP FOREMAN JOB SUMMARY

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work in machine shop
• Coordinate and organize work
• Lead and drive improvements
• Maintain safe environment
• Manage inventory HOURS Full time - Day Shift.

Minimum 40 hours a week.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay $20-25 per hour DOE. Overtime is any time after 40 hours in workweek and is paid at 1.5 times regular pay. Job performance determines pay increases, bonuses and promotions. • Proficient using & creating documents using Microsoft Excel Experience and expertise in any of the following areas a plus:
• Welding experience - Metal shop - Light fabrication
• CNC machine
• Lean Management
