This role will involve supervising production teams, meeting productivity targets, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvement to ensure on-time product delivery and contribute to ORE Design's continued growth. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, production schedules, and reports. Experience enforcing company and safety policies to ensure full compliance. Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Experience in production management and quality assurance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across all organizational levels, from direct reports and peer supervisors to key stakeholders (directors, CEO, owner). Experience creating, analyzing, and presenting reports using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to inform production management decisions.
Preferred:
Experience in metal fabrication and/or a strong understanding of welding/fabrication processes. Responsibilities & Duties Supervise and motivate the production team, providing leadership, development, and performance management. Oversee daily production, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, resource allocation, and tracking/reporting production metrics. Ensure product quality through collaboration with the quality team, enforcement of safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Drive process improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs, encourage employee involvement, and ensure effective shift communication and production reporting. Maintain a smooth production transition between shifts, ensuring equipment and work-in-progress are ready for quick startup. Communicate effectively with the other Production Supervisor at the beginning and end of each shift. Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and effective execution of production goals. Enforce company safety and other policies for all employees. Read and analyze blueprints, work orders, production schedules, and other records/reports to determine production requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for production-related concerns and issues. Schedule & Pay Monday -
Thursday:
4:15 PM - 2:45 AM Hours may vary slightly due to business needs; mandatory Fridays as needed. Salary is competitive and comparable to industry standards.
