Your scope includes:
- Leading daily paper machine operations to achieve SQDEP performance targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency, People).
- Drive execution of daily management systems, including structured shift handovers and production reviews.
- Monitor performance, identify losses, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. type="disc
- -Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and hourly employees to build capability and accountability.
- Champion a strong safety culture through visible leadership, audits, and incident investigations.
- Partner closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve reliability and process performance. What you bring You're a natural fit for Paper Machine Superintendent if you have: type="disc
- -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in paper manufacturing or similar heavy industry
- Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and production teams
- Strong technical understanding of paper machine operations
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and continuous improvement
- Experience in a Superintendent or Production Manager role
