Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Second Shift Production Supervisor to lead evening manufacturing operations in a growing adhesive manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving productivity across the shift. 2 nd shift - 3:30pm - 2am. Responsibilities Supervise and lead production employees on second shift. Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. Train, coach, and develop team members, including temporary employees. Monitor production activities and address operational issues as they arise. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment. Qualifications Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting. Experience in chemical, adhesive, coatings, packaging, or related manufacturing industries is preferred. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
