Job Description Insight Global is hiring for a Structural Superintendent to support our federal client in Newport News, VA. This person will possess a senior-level structural welding background and will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors' work, ensuring QA checks are completed on time, and tracking contract documentation for the current work being performed. This person will not be on their tools and will be in an entirely supervisory position. The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 6 am - 2:30 p.m., and the salary ranges between $25-$35/hr. Experience managing subcontractors, submitting documentation in a timely fashion, and has a clear understanding of NAVSEA and marine weld standards. Has experience working with Microsoft Suite tools to complete reporting and track completed work. A former Marine, welding supervisor.
