Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades - Marine Division is hiring an experienced Superintendent- Metal Supervisor. This is a 2-3-month project that can lead to a Temp to Hire Opportunity- START ASAP. Candidates must have a minimum of 4+ years of related experience OR 8+ years of shipbuilding/ship repair experience and meet the criteria below. All candidates will need to be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Pay $42-48/HRLOCAL
Highly qualified Journeyman in a relevant metal trade.
Strong knowledge of ship construction and ability to troubleshoot issues in real time.
Ability to read, understand, and work from technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proven ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.
Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
