  • We are seeking someone with attention to detail to join our Production team.
Our Production team is a small, tight-knit team, and they create electronic images from paper, including typical office documents, architectural drawings, bound notebooks and historical records. Risk avoidance and a high level of attention to detail are required. Applicants must be accountable, with excellent communication & problem-solving skills. Our Production team works with top of the line, commercial-grade material handling and imaging devices. While helpful, an new hire is not expected to be familiar with any of this technology upon hire. They will learn how to use it as needed. The extent of their training will be based project requirements. Project Responsibilities
  • The Production Supervisor understands the work priorities, and contributes to the completion of those priorities, and is aware of the status of employees and equipment affecting those priorities.
They should use their knowledge of the priorities to orient Production staff to projects in order to complete the projects in an efficient and timely manner. The result of their efforts should produce the desired production goals set by the company's President. Members of the Production team have moved into the Sales/Account team, the Solutions (software) team and company administration and leadership. Members of our Production team have also remained on the Production team for 10+ years. Average tenure is 8.5 years per person. Physical Demands / Work Environment
  • Subject to sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping and lifting of objects weighing 20-30 pounds for up to 30 feet. Majority of the work tasks are sitting or standing, and can require moving boxes depending on the needs of the project.
  • The Production Supervisor facilitates skills assessment of new applicants, training or arranging for training of new hires and current employees, address employees if failing to meet expectations.
Disciplinary matters are communicated to the Director of Operations and carried out in a joint manner with the Production Supervisor applying corrections at the request of the Director of Operations. The Production Supervisor will assign Production staff to projects at least daily and as needed and will be responsible for being aware of the length and timing of the rest and meal breaks of Production staff. They must be aware of what all Production staff are working on at all times to ensure that priorities of work are being met. They may award verbal praise when earned, and they may make recommendations for pay increases of Production staff to the Director of Operations. They should report on all of the above to the Director of Operations. If needed, they should involve the Director of Operations in disciplinary matters, and they will jointly conduct the performance reviews of employees with the Director of Operations. The Production Supervisor will be competent in all tasks executed within Production; as they must be knowledgeable about

The Production Supervisor must be competent in all scanning software tasks, to include minor scanning profile adjustments, however, not necessarily scanning profile creation. They must be particularly competent at Quality Assurance, migration, preparing the delivery, invoicing and billing. The Production Supervisor represents the Director of Operations in representing Production project issues when the Director of Operations is unavailable. Instances where this may occur are in the internal Weekly Sync meeting, or internal meetings where projects or processes are discussed, and in meetings with external vendors or customers located at FreeDoc.
  • Work is performed in a safe office environment: air conditioned/heated, enclosed and secured. All staff have passed FBI background checks.
