The Production Manager at this Averro client will oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production that meets customer commitments. This role provides leadership across production, assembly, scheduling, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Support. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead daily manufacturing and shop floor operations. Translate business objectives into production plans and priorities. Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost goals are met. Maintain SOPs and standardized work processes. People Leadership Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, fabricators, and assembly teams. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Support staffing, training, and performance management initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Support to support production goals, resolve issues, and improve manufacturability. Support corrective actions, inventory accuracy, and customer delivery needs. Continuous Improvement & Safety Drive Lean, 5S, and process improvement initiatives. Monitor KPIs such as throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, and on-time delivery. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, training, and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience. Experience leading production teams and improving operational performance. Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Experience in custom manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments. Lean/Six Sigma and ERP/MRP experience. Customer-facing or field service support experience.
