Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of converting production processes. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and operational metrics are achieved while leading, coaching, and developing team members. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily production operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Manage employee performance including coaching, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. Monitor production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, downtime, and overtime. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, environmental standards, and company procedures. Conduct routine safety briefings and proactively identify and address unsafe conditions. Track and report production metrics using KPIs and plant scorecards. Coordinate workforce planning including scheduling and attendance management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and operational goals. Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or converting operations. Experience working in Lean or Six Sigma environments preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make independent decisions and lead a team effectively. Flexibility to work multiple shifts as required.
