4-3-3 Rotating Schedule | 7:00 PM•7:00 AM Burnett Dairy Cooperative is seeking a dedicated and experienced PM Production Supervisor to join our Make Room team. This is a key leadership role within our cheese production facility, responsible for ensuring product quality, employee safety, and production efficiency. This is a working supervisor position , which means you will be actively engaged on the production floor while leading and supporting a team of Cheese Makers and Make Room Operators.

Responsibilities:

Direct the cheese making process, ensuring product quality and crew safety Schedule production and staffing, monitor key performance indicators, and manage workflow Train, coach, and motivate team members to meet production goals Maintain sanitation standards and compliance with food safety regulations Communicate regularly with other department leads to ensure plant-wide coordination Support process improvements and cost-saving initiatives Ensure accurate completion of all production documentation Enforce company policies and uphold safety procedures

Schedule and Work Environment:

Rotational schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off

Hours:

7:00 AM•7:00 PM Active production role that includes standing for extended periods and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs. Forklift operation required (willingness to obtain certification if not already licensed)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Three or more years of cheese operations experience, preferably in a supervisory role Wisconsin Cheese Maker's License preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven leadership ability in a manufacturing or production environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
