- $32 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Manufacturing management Teamwork Forklift Production planning Organizational skills Process improvement planning Clean workspace maintenance Implementing lean manufacturing processes Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Essential Functions Responsible for daily operations on the production floor, including scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure that all operations meet or exceed safety, quality and efficiency standards Assign duties to employees, checking their activities at regular intervals to ensure quality work is being performed in a safe and efficient fashion Provides manufacturing information by completing, compiling, reviewing, and submitting production, process and quality reports to management Motivate and lead team members: provide coaching and development opportunities; monitor success through documented periodic work performance evaluations, KPI's, and enact performance improvement plans, as required Coordinate departmental activities to meet manufacturing schedules, and take positive action to increase overall equipment effectiveness and reduce operating costs Role model and encourage teamwork: work with inter•and intra-departmental staff to improve productivity and quality standards in order to meet customer requirements Participates and actively identifies continuous improvement projects to improve products, processes, reduce waste, and reduce cost Maintains a safe and clean work environment Forklift and material handling experience LEAN/Process improvement methodologies•proven track record required Competencies Quality and Efficiency Focused•Mindset aligns team members and manufacturing processes and raw materials to develop solutions with business and KPI expectations in mind.
