Responsibilities:
Direct, coordinate and plan facility daily activities to ensure production goals are met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Oversee production members and ensuring they are inspecting, cutting, washing and packaging products according to company standards. Ensure standards of product quality, allergens, equipment and performance are maintained in order to maximize production. Make recommendations to upper management about service/purchase of equipment as needed. Work together with Plant supervisors and leads to maintain a positive and respectful work environment. Handle vacation approval, scheduling, training and grievances process. Work with Human Resources to hire, train, and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner in accordance with company policy. Assist in external auditing SQF-Safe Quality Food requirements including various customer / 3rd party audit expectations. Perform various other job functions as assigned, like inventory and code management.
Requirements:
5 years of experience working in Food Manufacturing and Production Knowledge of
FDA, USDA
