Final Assembly Group Lead Job Purpose:
Oversee a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. May assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing. Monitor equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments. Clear minor machine difficulties and perform maintenance and repair as trained by a technician, engineer or supervisor. Assist operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations. Spot checks product to ensure quality levels are maintained.
Nature of Duties:
To direct; coordinate and schedule the manufacturing process in thearea Monitor and control production goals and efficiencies Work closely with Management and Scheduling Department Maintain exceptional qualitystandards Guide and manage the team towards shared department goals Foster positive communication and resolve conflicts Provide motivation and support to staff Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to train and direct employees Overtime is a must Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs Requirements and skills needed for the job: High School or GED 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
