Production Supervisor Work Mode:
Onsite Location:
Onsite - Kohler, WI Opportunity Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising the day-to-day activities of Casting Finishing operations within a Cast Iron Foundry environment. Ensures production requirements are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality, delivery, and cost objectives while supporting continuous improvement and team engagement. Specific Responsibilities Directly supervises and assigns work to Casting Finishing operators to meet customer demand and production schedules. Ensures the workforce is properly trained, qualified, and understands job expectations prior to assignment. Frequently evaluates job procedures and operator performance to maintain standards related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale. Supports Kohler Operating System (KOS) initiatives and maintains 5S standards. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and investigates incidents in a timely manner. Evaluates robotic and automated systems for performance. Leads or supports equipment troubleshooting with Maintenance and Engineering. Maintains hour-by-hour operational continuity. Communicates effectively across shifts and departments. Prepares required reports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Administers policies, conducts evaluations, and manages discipline as needed. Skills/Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent level of education Experience utilizing MS Office Suite Strong leadership, communication, and technical aptitude Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and foundry environment Prior experience functioning as a supervisor/manager is preferred Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
