Packaging Department Coordinator - Third Shift

Job Summary This position supports the operation of the Packaging Department with labor planning/training and production resourcing. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plan weekly and daily staffing schedules, including planned time off and training hours Assist in completion of performance reviews Plan daily and weekly schedules for cleaning Keep weekly inventories and order department materials/supplies Maintain distribution of documents related to production Assist with GMP/Sanitation audits and inspections and follow up with corrective actions Review of department documentation for accuracy/completion Minimum Qualifications Associate Degree or above in manufacturing related field preferred. Will consider combination of education and relevant work experience. Experience with unionized work environment preferred. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong background in people skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Selected candidate will be assigned a primary shift, but must have flexibility for working hours, including weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
