The Production Lead will oversee production, ensure safety and quality products are being produced. Ensure safety for all employees and work environment. Ensure all safety and work-related practices and policies are being followed. Encourage a team working environment and employee morale. Oversee and monitor production and quality. Ensure regular communication with the Production Manager and notify Operations Manager of any issues. Quality spot checks of products. Assist with production as needed. Assist with employee Evaluations/Reviews. Resolve any quality issues or defects Report any safety or personnel issues that may arise to Production Manager. Assist with training and on-boarding new employees. Comply with all AIB regulations. Other duties as assigned.Desired Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing leadership experience. Must possess strong leadership, problem solving and decision making skills. Effective communication skills. Good Attitude. Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong mechanical skills. Forklift experience is a plus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are as follows: 3rd Shift core hours: 10:00 pm. to 6:00 am, Sunday night - Thursday night. There will also be a required 30 - 60 minute shift hand off with 2nd shift (prior to the start of 3rd shift) and with 1st shift (at the end of 3rd shift). Rotational weekend over time will be required as needed (~every 3rd Saturday).
