Flooring Master Craftsman Employment Type:
Full-Time About the Role Painters USA is seeking experienced Master Craftsman to lead industrial flooring crews. This role is ideal for seasoned industrial craftsmen who excel at overseeing teams, coordinating production, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a strong safety-first culture. Foremen are responsible for directing daily jobsite activities, communicating with project managers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.Compensation & Benefits Pay Scale:

Paid hotel accommodations 40 hours of paid leave after 90 days of employment (eligible for payout) Extra PTO after 3 years 2 Paid Holidays + time-and-a-half if you work a holiday 401(k) with company match after one year of service Access to Corporate Chaplains & Care Fund Loan support Stop Work Authority for every employee Eligible for company health benefits after 60 days Primary Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of industrial flooring crews Ensure all team members follow safety protocols, jobsite rules, and required PPE usage Review project specifications, ensure surface prep and application meet required standards Communicate progress, delays, and resource needs to the Project Manager Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce a safety-first work environment Assign tasks, manage crew productivity, and troubleshoot issues on site Maintain accurate documentation, including jobsite reports, time tracking, and equipment logs Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored Perform hands-on work when needed to support production and maintain workflow Inspect completed work for quality, correct deficiencies, and uphold company standards Coordinate with other trades or contractors when required Support training and onboarding of newer crew members Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of industrial flooring experience Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application methods Ability to read and interpret job plans, specifications, and safety documentation Proficiency with industrial tools, equipment, and spray systems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel nationally for extended periods (4-5 months at a time based on job demand) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in industrial environments Strong communication skills and proven leadership ability Basic Plus certification (or ability to obtain quickly) Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) NCCER Certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Confined Space Certification Experience mentoring or training team members Who Thrives in This Role This role is ideal for confident, hands‑on leaders who can motivate teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
