Manage the daily duties of the production workers Train new employees on all aspects of production Identify opportunity of process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality. Lifting and relocating shipments manually and using pallet jacks or forklift Material handling of all product involved within the department. Conduct walk thru for inventory to keep a current approximate count on all raw materials in stock. Speak with president of UVP and purchasing to order materials need, along with using MRP for inventory supplies. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results Make sure products are received in properly with no damages Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Requirements 5+ years of experience Forklift certified Ability to stay organized Safety Management Quality Focus Power Tools Bilingual/Spanish speaking
