Freshpack is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor. The Junior Superintendent plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the production schedule by overseeing the allocation of qualified personnel, effectively communicating shortages, and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.

Join us to help transform project management in our organization as we continue to grow. Duties/Responsibilities 1. Floor Presence (80%) Conduct routine walkthroughs to assess quality and productivity across different areas. Collaborate with Production Foremen to address schedule challenges and enhance operational efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting. Proactively identify and resolve shortages, ensuring uninterrupted workflow. Coordinate trails, product improvements, and new item launches, fostering a culture of innovation. Provide guidance and support to team members, including foremen and machine operators, to troubleshoot issues and optimize efficiency. Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance, regularly inspecting products to uphold standards. Identify inefficiencies in plant operations and develop corrective action plans, communicating progress effectively. Serve as back-up to the Production Superintendent. 2. Office Work (20%) Assist in weekly reconciliation and optimization of plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Verify time and attendance records to maintain workforce accountability. Ensure effective communication of shortages and proactive resolution strategies. Uphold team accountabilities and enforce policies to maintain operational integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives. 3. Tools Weekly grading and distribution of KPIs for incentivizing performance. Safety Culture, which is the training and auditing software Freshpack utilizes. Leverage various computerized reports for tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement. Utilize communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook for escalating issues. Utilize stationary and display space for effective communication and information sharing. Shift Day Shift - 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs and 5:00am-4:30pm Friday Requirements Bilingual (Spanish/English) Comfortable using computers for email communication, basic inventory management, and manufacturing transactions. Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and basic understanding of machinery and processes. Willingness to learn and train team members on policies and procedures. Positive attitude with a focus on fostering supportive and productive work culture. Strong leadership skills, capable of making tough decisions and holding team members accountable. PI286804730
