WE ARE GROWING AND ADDING THE NEED FOR ANOTHER PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR TO OUR TEAM!
SEEKING
TO HELP SUPPORT 1ST SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Summary:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for mentoring the production team to ensure that employees are following established procedures to produce quality products in an environment that is focused on safety. The Production Supervisor actively works to promote a positive work environment that encourages and values employee input.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Collaborate with Team Leads to direct production activitiesin accordance withthe production schedule and established prioritieswhile maximizing theutilizationof assigned resources, machines, personnel, and materials. Perform regular audits of products to verify quality integrity. Provide leadership tomaintainhigh standardsof work. Work with Team Leads to assess employee talent and developmental needs. Develop andmaintaina skills matrix and training plansfor employees. Encourage team members to activelyparticipatein idea generationregardingchanges to production methods, processes, or equipment. Assistteam members in the interpretation of procedures, methods, and correct use of production equipment to ensure compliance. Conduct employee performance reviews andestablishcareer development plans. Address complaints and resolve issuesin accordance withcompany policies. Enforce a culture that prioritizes safety byoperatingas a safety advocate for the department. As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROWBusiness System policy andobjectivesand how you affect conformance to them.
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent; technical degree desired. Three years of supervisory experience in a production work environment. Knowledge, experience, and understanding of manufacturing safety, processes, flow, schedules, delivery, etc., desired. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure andmeetdeadlines. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; knowledge of IFS is preferred. Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset to contribute to excellence in manufacturing. Ability to drive a forklift or complete training to obtainforkliftlicense. Basic reading and comprehension skills. Proficiencywith computers. Understanding ofproduction schedules and demand and delivery.
