Overview Ketchup Please is an organic, no-added-sugar condiment company based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Founded in 2019 as a Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) project at Kettle Moraine High School, Ketchup Please has grown from a student business idea into a rapidly expanding food manufacturer producing both our own branded products and sauces for co-packing clients. We're looking for an energetic, hands-on Production Senior Lead who enjoys leading people, building efficient processes, and making great food products. This position plays a critical role in overseeing daily production activities while working directly alongside team members on the production floor. Unlike many manufacturing roles, this position offers the opportunity to participate in the entire product journey from recipe development and ingredient preparation to cooking, filling, packaging, and ultimately seeing products reach retail shelves across the country, including: Hy-Vee, Metro Market/Pick 'n , Meijer, Sendik's, Piggly Wiggly, Woodman's, H-E-B, to name a few! The Production Senior Lead serves as the primary production floor leader, helping train team members, coordinate production activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently. This position is based at our Oconomowoc, WI manufacturing facility and may be full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability. Essential Responsibilities Production Leadership Lead daily production activities and coordinate team members throughout production runs Train, coach, and support production employees on equipment operation, food safety procedures, and standard work instructions Assist with production scheduling Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement Manufacturing Operations Oversee ingredient preparation including spices, tomato products, fresh produce, and other raw materials Coordinate cooking operations utilizing steam-jacketed kettles, mixers, and immersion blenders Support sauce transfers through pumps and piping systems to filling equipment Lead filling, capping, sealing, labeling, lot coding, and case packing activities Ensure products are manufactured according to established recipes, specifications, and quality standards Quality & Food Safety Maintain compliance with GMPs, USDA-Organic requirements, FDA regulations, and company food safety procedures Verify production documentation is completed accurately Conduct hot-fill-hold quality checks throughout production runs Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment Job Requirements Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse operations, or related industries preferred Experience supervising or training employees strongly preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable operating and learning food manufacturing equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods Working Conditions On-site role based at our Oconomowoc, WI facility. Full-time or part-time scheduling available depending on candidate availability. Standard operating hours are 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Hands-on exposure to food manufacturing, equipment operations, and process scale-up within a growing CPG brand. Training and onboarding paid and provided.
