Production Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to provide leadership and direction to a manufacturing team while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position plays a key role in achieving operational goals, meeting customer expectations, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor will lead and develop employees, manage daily production activities, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production schedules and quality standards are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead by example and promote a strong culture of workplace safety and employee accountability. Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery requirements are met. Manage staffing, production workflow, employee assignments, and daily production reporting. Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. Coach, train, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen individual and team performance. Provide clear direction, establish expectations, and address performance issues in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, materials, human resources, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain production flow. Analyze production data and utilize problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with the implementation of process improvements. Maintain appropriate records, documentation, and reports related to production activities and employee performance. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive business and employee information. Provide hands-on operational support as needed to ensure production activities remain on schedule. Promote teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive working environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in supervision, operations management, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop production employees. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities, and competing priorities. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated project management capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with Google Workspace and other commonly used business productivity tools. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers, management, and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information. Pay Details:
