3rd Shift Production Supervisor O&H Danish Bakery - 3.7 Racine, WI Job Details 9 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Food production Manufacturing management High school diploma or GED Productivity software Managing food or beverage production teams Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interpret the demand of production, and then implement and manage daily execution of the production schedule through delegation and time management. Kringle production schedules are subject to the demands of retail, mail order, and other seasonal demands. Accountable for the full and accurate completion and reporting of inventory monthly. Inventory control using FIFO "first in first out" rotation. Implement proper storage practices and maintain adequate levels of inventory for production requirements. Work directly with the baking department supervisors guiding their production to fulfill department requirements. Routinely complete various reports and verify production numbers. Manage the Kringle team to include hiring, training and development, performance management, setting weekly schedules, managing timecards and planning team workload. Must ensure all team members and trained and practicing GMPs, and are SQF and HACCP compliant. The Kringle Supervisor is integral in the hiring and training of new team members. Work alongside team members to assist with daily production, and provide on the job training and support. Develop a sound understanding of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA. Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all processes / equipment, ensuring compliance. As new equipment and product is acquired and/or processes changed, develop and/or update SOP's to comply with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA and SQF. Providing seasonal support and guidance to retail and production teams for preparation, baking, decoration, and packaging of seasonal items and product. Evaluate and encourage employee development through continuous on the job training, annual performance reviews and corrective action as needed. Work with employees to identify opportunities for continual growth in skill and abilities. Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environment. Other duties as assigned by management. Experience Required 2 year(s):
  • 2-5 years related experience in a food production leadership role.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Programs
  • SQF and HACCP Experience preferred Education Required High School or better
