Because we are a smaller profile extrusion plant, our environment is cleaner, quieter, and far more manageable than massive injection molding shops or heavy automotive foundries. You aren't just a badge number here—you report directly to the Plant Manager and have a real, visible impact on our operations and culture. What You Will Do As the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will lead our afternoon production crew to safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
Lead & Mentor:
Oversee a small, dedicated team of extrusion operators, fostering a culture of mutual respect, safety, and accountability.
Keep Production Flowing:
Coordinate shift handoffs, assign daily tasks, and assist operators with line changeovers or technical troubleshooting.
Maintain Quality:
Ensure profile products meet exact customer dimensions and quality specifications through regular floor audits.
Problem Solve:
Act as the go-to resource on the floor for operational roadblocks, material issues, or mechanical troubleshooting.
What We Are Looking For Leadership Experience:
2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics or extrusion experience is a major plus, but a strong leadership track record is what matters most).
Communication Skills:
A supervisor who leads by coaching, not shouting. You know how to build morale and keep a team motivated.
Technical Aptitude:
Comfort around mechanical machinery and basic hand tools to assist the team when challenges arise.
Reliability:
Someone who takes pride in owning their shift and showing up consistently for their team.
