Master the Process. Make It Happen. Do you enjoy working with machinery and seeing a project go from a sheet of metal to a finished part? We're looking for a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team! You'll operate punching equipment to cut, form, and shape sheet metal components while ensuring every part meets our quality standards. If you have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, this could be the opportunity for you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Set up and operate metal punch machines to cut, form, and shape sheet metal. Load, position, and secure metal sheets for punching operations. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues. Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment concerns. Record production output, downtime, and quality information. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and help identify ways to reduce scrap and improve efficiency. Enjoy working with machinery and solving problems. Have strong mechanical aptitude. Can read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Are comfortable using precision measuring tools. Pay close attention to detail and quality. Have experience with CNC or manual punch presses, turret presses, or similar equipment. Are dependable, safety-minded, and a strong team player. Manufacturing or machining experience is preferred.
