Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Tech- Aircraft Production to be the Subject Matter Expert while supporting and strengthening the C-130 aircraft production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on mentoring, training, and improving production performance across teams. You'll work closely with mechanics, leads, supervisors, and management to share deep expertise, improve processes, and help teams build and deliver aircraft efficiently and correctly. If you have extensive C-130 production experience and enjoy teaching, coaching, and leading from the floor, this is a high-impact opportunity.
Work Location:
Clarksburg, WV (Onsite) Preferred.

U.S. Citizenship Required We are seeking an experienced Operations Technical- Aircraft Production (SME) to support and strengthen C-130 aircraft production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on mentoring, training, and improving production performance across teams. You'll work closely with mechanics, leads, supervisors, and management to share deep expertise, improve processes, and help teams build and deliver aircraft efficiently and correctly. If you have extensive C-130 production experience and enjoy teaching, coaching, and leading from the floor, this is a high-impact opportunity. What You'll Do Serve as a technical expert (SME) for C-130 aircraft production and assembly Mentor and coach production staff, leads, and supervisors on best practices Train teams on aircraft build processes, tools, and production workflows Support mechanical assembly operations and work center activities Provide guidance on aircraft systems, structures, and build sequences Help improve production efficiency, quality, and consistency Coach leads and supervisors on decision-making, leadership, and team management Identify gaps in production knowledge and implement training solutions Support a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability Required Qualifications 20+ years of experience in aircraft production, manufacturing, or assembly 7+ years of direct C-130 production line experience Deep knowledge of aircraft build processes, mechanical assembly, and production operations Experience as a lead, supervisor, or production support expert Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop production teams Strong understanding of production tools, workflows, and manufacturing processes Ability to communicate effectively with both shop floor teams and leadership Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Experience Background as a Work Center Supervisor, Lead Mechanic, or Production Lead Experience supporting aircraft build, modification, or sustainment programs Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards and quality requirements Experience improving production processes, training programs, or team performance
Pay:
$80.00 - $90.00 per hour
