The Plate Roll Operator is responsible for safely setting up and operating plate rolling equipment to form steel plate to specified diameters, radiuses, and tolerances in accordance with drawings and job requirements. This position verifies material, performs quality checks, maintains equipment, and works closely with production to meet schedule and quality expectations.

Requirements:

Safely set up and operate plate rolling equipment. Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and specifications. Verify material size, grade, and dimensions before rolling. Inspect rolled parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment (when trained and authorized). Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe lifting practices. Maintain a clean, organized work area and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately. Work as a team to support production goals and customer delivery schedules.

Pay:

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
