• level 2 Manufacturing Support Team Member
• to join our team in Huntsville, AL . In this role, you will be responsible for supporting material requirements planning, leading material status meetings, and communicating critical supply chain needs to ensure the timely delivery of materials to support production schedules, and assisting the lab for material needs.

Material Requirements Planning

• Lead material status meetings with product teams, to review material availability and current shortages
• Validate procurement delivery dates for impacts on production schedules and support procurement to update system to match real delivery dates
• Communicate critical supply chain needs to stakeholders
• Communicate schedule threats and drive escalation process with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Facilitate non-support burndowns plans and actions, including alternate parts, expedite fees, production flow changes, and other solutions to mitigate material shortages
• Prioritize items through receiving inspection to ensure timely processing and minimize delays
• Create similar special orders to support supply chain needs and ensure material availability
• Coordinate shipments of make parts from manufacturing plant to receiving plant, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing transportation costs
• Monitor exception message management plans for ex20's, ex50/52's, and PR rejections/aging PR's, and work with buy part planners to monitor rejected PR queues and disposition rejected PRs \#LMSpaceRA \#LMSPACEMRPCTLNDHVL ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Standard Job Description:

Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

• Basic Qualifications
• : • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or related field • Strong knowledge of material requirements planning, procurement, and supply chain management principles • Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP or similar software • Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start and ultimately a Final Secret government security clearance •Desired Skills•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field • Active Secret security clearance • Experience in aerospace or defense industry • Knowledge of

• Certification in supply chain management or related field, such as APICS or ISM

Full-Time Salary Range:
