Job Description

RSC is currently hiring experienced Shipfitters and Welders for long-term new construction work in Philadelphia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled marine tradesmen seeking steady work, overtime, and competitive pay on large shipbuilding projects. Per Diem of $150 daily available to those who qualify. Testing locations are available in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Louisiana.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform shipfitting and structural welding on new construction marine vessels Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Fabricate, fit, align, and tack structural components Maintain safety and quality standards throughout production
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial experience Shipfitters must pass SMAW and FCAW tack test Welders must pass 2G/3G FCAW with backing bend test
Additional Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment drug screen Must be able to work overtime and any assigned shift Long-term, ongoing work available New construction environment only RSC offers stable work opportunities for skilled craftsmen looking to grow within the maritime industry. IND3
Pay:
Up to $33.00 per hour
