About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Support Specialist to join our manufacturing operations team. What You'll Do Own and manage production data packages, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and regulations Prepare, track, and control production orders to ensure timely completion Coordinate and support daily operations across production, supply chain, and engineering teams Ensure all production documentation is accurate, complete, and properly signed off Issue materials and assemblies to support scheduled builds Confirm that all required tools, parts, and documentation are available before production begins Monitor production flow and report progress or delays to stakeholders Identify and resolve production issues quickly, proposing alternative solutions when needed Support implementation of engineering changes and ensure accurate system updates Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove bottlenecks and improve workflows Manage data entry and administrative tasks related to production planning and inventory Utilize SAP (ERP system) for production planning, material tracking, and transactions Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement What You Bring Strong ability to work cross-functionally and resolve issues with urgency Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Hands-on mindset with a focus on results and operational efficiency Ability to interpret BOMs, engineering drawings, and production documentation Experience monitoring and improving production flow and job velocity Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases/SharePoint Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced setting Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Preferred Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field Equivalent hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment Experience with composite materials/processes (a plus) Knowledge of
ITAR/EAR
regulations (a plus) Experience with additional ERP systems beyond SAP Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Trinity, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
