You will be the Production Test & Assembly Engineer on Second Shift for the Missile Assembly team. Our team is responsible for technical aspects of missile final assembly, integration, and test operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Pike County Operations. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Test & Assembly Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the successful manufacture of missiles. You will play a critical role in developing and supporting assembly processes and test procedures, on a 2nd-shift schedule (Mon-Thurs 3:30PM-2:00AM). Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Supporting automated test and assembly operations. Preparing work instructions and test procedures from engineering data and conducting detailed failure analysis. Evaluating non-conformances and developing root-cause and corrective/preventative actions. Interpreting engineering data and supporting electro-mechanical integration and assembly. Basic Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above and 1+ years professional experience; Or 6 years of related professional experience.
- Working knowledge / experience of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
- Demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on assembly abilities to perform or assist in missile assembly and test along with repairing nonoperating tools and equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:30PM
- 2:00AM).

Desired Skills:
Experience interpreting engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications to create manufacturing assembly processes and operational work instructions / procedures. Working knowledge / experience of manufacturing mechanical assembly processes, electronic testing methods, factory automation equipment, industrial safety processes, technical writing, and teaming. Experience in conducting detailed failure analysis for determining root cause and implementing the corrective / preventative actions to eliminate defects. Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products. Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment.Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
