Job Title:
AOI Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AOI Operator for our 1st and 2nd shift SMT/AOI operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting electronic manufacturing operations, including machine setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in SMT processes, PCB assembly, and AOI systems. Responsibilities Perform equipment setup and first article inspections. Conduct preventive maintenance and process monitoring. Ensure adherence to quality standards and production requirements. Support electronic manufacturing operations with machine setup and operation. Troubleshoot and maintain SMT and AOI equipment. Perform AOI inspection and hand soldering tasks. Essential Skills Experience with SMT processes and PCB assembly. Proficiency in AOI systems and machine operation. Familiarity withIPC-A-610
standards. Competence in statistical process control and inventory control. Ability to perform soldering and AOI inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in changeover support and equipment calibration. Skill in process documentation review and root cause investigation. Experience in rework identification, data entry, and production tracking. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and 5S workplace organization. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
