Description:
Arkansas Sign and Banner is a successful sign manufacturing, installation, and service company located in Bentonville, AR. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our operation while learning and gaining valuable hands-on experience in print and sign production.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the preparation and installation of vinyl, including weeding, masking, trimming, application, and other related processes. Load and properly position materials into printers, plotters, routers, and other production equipment. Use and maintain the laminator in an appropriate manner. Assist in secondary operations such as installing grommets and taping banners. Learn all aspects of vinyl production which includes simple programming, plotting, and technical aspects of vinyl. Learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of the materials used in printing and sign production, including their proper handling, application, and use. Assist with various tasks and activities within the production area to support efficient and timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop area at all times.

Highly motivated, energetic, and positive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Work well in a fast past environment. Enjoys hands-on work and is always looking for ways to improve. All applicants that have demonstrated drive and eagerness to learn, in previous jobs, will be considered. Physical requirements may include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Job Type:
Full-time position.
Schedule:
Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed to meet customer requirements.
Salary:
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Compensation is based on experience.
