Job Description

Day-in-the-Role It's 8:30 a.m. in Jonesboro, AR. You've just wrapped a quick stand-up with production, procurement, and logistics. An urgent customer order just landed, so you open your scheduling software, review inventory positions, reconcile open work orders, and fine-tune the master schedule. By midday, you're modeling capacity scenarios to remove a bottleneck on a high-demand line. Before you leave, you analyze performance trends, update stakeholders on schedule shifts, and capture improvement ideas for tomorrow. What You'll Take On Build, own, and continually refine production schedules that balance demand, capacity, and inventory. Synchronize plans with production, procurement, and logistics to ensure material availability and resource alignment. Track progress against plan, re-sequence operations, and adapt swiftly to demand or capacity changes. Interrogate data to spot trends and drive smarter, faster scheduling decisions. Keep cross-functional partners informed with clear, timely communication on changes and impacts. Use scheduling tools and advanced Excel skills to maintain accurate schedules, KPIs, and reports. Surface potential bottlenecks early and propose practical, data-backed solutions. Champion continuous improvement to boost scheduling precision and overall productivity. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Hands-on experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Analytical strength and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions. Fluency with scheduling software and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills across cross-functional teams. Meticulous, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Adaptable and resilient as priorities evolve throughout the day.
