The work schedule is 2nd shift Monday through Thursday 4:30 PM to 3 AM daily. Come build your future with us! $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift The Build (Responsibilities) Oversee the day-to-day operation while providing technical support to associates in given work area(s).
Work with production supervisors to carry out production plans by setting priorities.
Report to production supervisors or appropriate members of management regarding associate issues.
Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
Listen to team members' feedback and resolve issues or conflicts.
Ensure proper training, coaching, and feedback to new employees.
Assess, identify, and address training opportunities, including job skills training and goal setting.
Facilitate effective team meetings.
Submit work orders when needed.
Responsible for following safety/regulatory policies and procedures, as well as reporting safety/regulatory concerns to the Production, Safety, or Quality Manager.
Willingness to help as an operator in work area.
Ability to understand, review, and speak about the Daily Production Board.
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Ability to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as required. The Toolbox (Qualifications)
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
Strong leadership/communication/people skills.
Solid mechanical ability.
In-depth understanding of the business and production workflow.
Basic computer skills.
Able to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours, if necessary.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and/or materials.
