Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications Mobile Control Systems, a subsidiary of TowMate, manufactures rugged wireless remote-control systems used to operate hydraulics, winches, and other equipment in the towing and work-truck industries. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Manufacturing Assembly Person / Production Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position with significant room for advancement for the right person. We are looking for someone interested in learning our products and processes, taking on increasing responsibility, and potentially growing into a key role within Mobile Control Systems. For someone dependable who takes ownership of their work, this has the potential to become a long-term career opportunity rather than simply an assembly job.

What You'll Do:

Assemble and build parts and finished products according to specifications Properly and safely use hand tools and power tools Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process Inspect finished products to make sure they look right, function correctly, and meet our quality standards Identify and report assembly or quality issues Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Work efficiently to meet daily production goals Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures Assist with other production and shop duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual - we need someone we can count on Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision Willing and able to learn multiple aspects of the operation Interested in taking on additional responsibility as they gain experience Good hand-eye coordination and attention to small details Comfortable working with your hands and using tools Able to follow instructions and learn new processes Able to work independently as well as part of a team Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to maintain a clean and safe working environment Experience Previous manufacturing, factory, mechanical, or assembly experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Experience with QuickBooks is also a plus, particularly as this position has the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities within the Mobile Control Systems operation. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
