Shift:
Monday - Friday, 4:30am - 3:00pm $17.50/Hour Job Details 1st Employment is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Channel Former Operator for our client in Morrilton, Arkansas. This position plays a vital role in the fabrication and manufacturing of sheet metal components used in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, press brakes, or other industrial machinery and be committed to producing quality products while maintaining a safe workplace. The Channel Former Operator is responsible for operating equipment used to form, fabricate, and manufacture sheet metal parts according to production specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to meeting daily production goals. The Channel Former Operator will also perform quality inspections, complete required documentation, and assist with machine setups and production changeovers as needed. Key Responsibilities Operate channel forming equipment and other manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently. Fabricate and manufacture sheet metal parts according to specifications and production schedules. Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards. Complete and maintain shop paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor production output and work to meet or exceed established production goals. Assist with machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers as needed. Package finished parts for shipment or transfer to the next production stage. Attend and actively participate in daily safety and department meetings. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to support efficient operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a CNC Operator, Press Brake Operator, Machine Operator, or similar manufacturing role preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
