Operate and monitor batch production equipment in accordance with work instructions, SOPs, and quality specifications Assist with operating PLC-controlled equipment, including monitoring: Temperature controls, Pumps, Pressure systems Follow Process Flow Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand flow paths and material movement Perform routine checks and adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation Accurately complete production and quality documentation Adhere to all safety requirements, including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, Process Hazard Evaluations (PHE) awareness Communicate issues, deviations, or equipment concerns to leadership promptly Support continuous improvement, housekeeping, and team-based problem solving Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorhip Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic computer skills Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) High school diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and system 1 or 2 years of previous experience in a batch production or manufacturing environment Basic experience or exposure to PLC-operated equipment Must have knowledge of: Temperature, pressure, and pump-controlled processes, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Ability to read and interpret P&IDs with an understanding of process flow Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
