Associate degree or technical degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. Ability to interpret technical documentation, manufacturing data, and production requirements. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or a related field. Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, including data entry, reporting, and document management. Experience managing bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and production schedules preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and capacity planning. Physical Capabilities Ability to work primarily in an office and manufacturing environment. Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer for extended periods. Ability to review technical documents, reports, and production schedules with accuracy. Must be able to meet attendance and scheduling requirements. Job Duties Develop and maintain production schedules using ERP systems and Excel to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements. Determine material and part requirements based on customer orders, engineering specifications, and ERP data. Monitor production performance and report schedule attainment metrics. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to efficiently manage production capacity, labor resources, and workflow priorities. Assign manufacturing lead times, due dates, and routing information for released and special-order jobs. Investigate and resolve supplier, inventory, and production discrepancies that impact scheduling. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and reporting processes. Participate in project reviews, milestone meetings, and new product introduction activities. Create, maintain, and validate master bills of materials (BOMs) and work-order BOMs for accuracy. Verify BOMs against engineering documentation and drawings. Prepare production documentation packages, including drawings, routers, travelers, instructions, and completion schedules. Maintain awareness of active projects, manufacturing workload, customer demand, and production capabilities. Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.

  • Staffmark Production Worker What You Will Do As a Production Control Clerk you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions.

You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations. Function as the focal point in creating a production schedule for plant using the best combination of Manufacturing ERP system and Excel

  • Determine parts requirements per order based on technical points and ERP outputs
  • Monitors, analyzes and reports performance to schedule of production activities
  • Assist the Manufacturing department to actively manage the production, schedule work hours and resources
  • Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates on parts as needed and document during the releasing process and for special order requests
  • Identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in schedule discrepancies
  • Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes
  • Participate in project milestone meetings and new product development as required
  • Accurately develop and maintain complex master bills-of-material, and work order bills-of-material
  • Validate BOMs to engineering documentation for accuracy on each other
  • Reproduce drawings and assemble drawing packets complete with work-order router (traveler), completion dates, and instruction for all operations
