Production Assistant

A returning Discovery show is seeking a motivated and proactive Production Assistant from April through October. We will also consider applicants available from June through August. Filming will take place throughout the multiple states in the western U.S. and Canada and will be spread over 4 blocks with a short break between blocks.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Candidates should be comfortable with and/or experienced in:

• Working in remote, logistically challenging environments, often located over an hour from the nearest town
• Setting up and striking EZ-Up tents
• Securing and rigging equipment for transport using ratchet straps
• Planning and coordinating supply crafty runs to sustain the crew for multiple days
• Driving a large SUV safely and confidently
• Working independently while managing workload, with guidance from the UPM as needed
• Problem-solving in fast-paced, unpredictable conditions
• Setting up kit and production rooms in hotels
• Ensuring cast and crew remain supported on set - with food, drinks, snacks, sunscreen
• Participating in long-distance travel between episode locations (shared driving responsibilities)
