As a Manufacturing Assistant you will use math skills for precise measurements in support of various production processes, learn essential mechanical skills, and perform repetitive cutting, deburring and finishing of materials associated with sign building and assembly for order fulfillment. Experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments and/or working with metal, is a plus.

Successful candidates will possess:

A strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness, Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team Must read and write English. Must be at least 18 years old, Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must possess proven skills and capabilities below, we will train on production processes.

Skills:

Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude for learning mechanical systems Ability to understand and measure materials precisely using measuring devices Must possess good hand-eye coordination and comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Capacity to stand and bend, stand for long periods of time. Capability to perform repetitive movements. Able to lift large sheets of metal, Able to load and unload trucks and use a forklift, Experience using a break press and drill press Material handling and running errands. Reliable transportation and a valid State of Arizona Driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Local to Mesa preferred.
